Today, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the Research Council of Norway (RCN) and the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) to its premises. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration among the institutions in research-related initiatives.

During the discussion, participants presented the activities and strategic priorities of their institutions, focusing on funding programs that support research. The conversation highlighted areas of mutual interest and potential synergies that could benefit the research community.

The meeting was attended by Professor Xeni Chryssochoou, President of HFRI’s Scientific Council, and Dr. Katerina Kouravelou, Director of HFRI. Representing GSRI, the discussion was joined by Mr. Christos Karientidis, Head of the Private Office of the General Secretary, Mr. Antonios Gypakis, Deputy Head Officer of the Research and Innovation Planning and Programming Directorate, and Mrs. Maria Christoula, Head Officer of the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Directorate. On behalf of RCN, Mr. Rune Vistad, Director of the Department for International Cooperation, and Ms. Aleksandra W. Haugstad, Special Adviser, participated in the meeting.
