On Monday, 21 October 2024, the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.) employees attended an extremely useful three-hour first aid seminar by the Hellenic Red Cross.
The seminar was held at the Foundation’s premises, and its objective was to inform and promote safety and preparedness in emergencies. Mr. Nikolaos Barlagiannis, Head of Volunteers Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards Sector of the Hellenic Red Cross, presented the basic principles of BLS (Basic Life Support), which include CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the use of an external defibrillator.
