The Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) participated for the sixth time in the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) at Pavilion 7 of the Ministry of Development.
From 7 to 15 September, the visitors of the 88th TIF who came to the HFRI pavilion had the opportunity to learn about the Foundation and be informed about its activities and prospects, both through the available visual content and by the Foundation’s representatives.
On the occasion of the HFRI’s participation in the 88th TIF, the Director of the Foundation, Dr Aikaterini Kouravelou, delivered a speech entitled “The HFRI as a lever for the development of basic research in the country. Achievements and Perspectives”, where she reported on the Foundation’s work from the year of its establishment until 2024, as well as on its future endeavours.
Deputy Minister of Development Zoe Rapti and the General Secretary of Research and Innovation Dr Anastasios Gaitanis, as well as a number of academics and researchers, honoured the HFRI with their presence and were informed about the Foundation’s actions to date, as well as future actions aimed at supporting unrestricted research.
