The Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) will participate as an exhibitor at the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI), which will take place from 2 to 5 June 2024 at the Athens Concert Hall. The Conference is co-organized by the National Technical University of Athens, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and the WCRI Foundation (WCRIF). Co-chair of WCRI2024 is the Vice President of the Scientific Council (SC) of HFRI, Professor Konstantinos Haritidis.

Since 2007, the Conferences have evolved significantly into a global effort to promote integrity in research through research, policy harmonization and joint action. Each of them covers the broad spectrum of research integrity issues and responsible research practices. The central theme of the 8th WCRI, “Catalysing the translation of research into trustworthy policy and innovation”, aims to highlight the value of trustworthy research across the Sciences and to strengthen the trust of both the scientific community and society in science.

The participation of HFRI in the 8th WCRI underlines the importance the Foundation attributes to promoting integrity in research and supporting initiatives at national and international level that facilitate policy making.
