As announced earlier today in Brussels, Professor Nektarios Tavernarakis was elected Chair of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology.
Prof. Tavernarakis, member of the Advisory Committee of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation, is the first and only Greek that is being elected Chair of EIT’s Governing Board, a decision that follows his honorable “scientific and managerial career, with substantial contributions and important initiatives towards promoting innovation”.
Prof. Nektarios Tavernarakis will be in charge of EIT activities, assuming duties on July 2022.
