In the context of the dissemination of the results of the research project “Domesticating Global Capitalism: Household, Co-ops and Power in a Post-memoranda Greek Providence” (DomEcon) with Assistant Professor Aliki Angelidou as Principal Investigator, an International Two-day Conference will be held under the title “What happened to domestication? Hierarchies, tensions and mutuality in domestic life and economy in post-welfare Southern and Eastern Europe.”
The first day of the two-day Conference will be hosted at the Amphitheatre of the French Institute of Greece on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 09:30-18:00.
The second day of the two-day Conference will be hosted at the Sakis Karagiorgas II Amphitheatre at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 09:00-14:00.
The research project was supported by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) within the framework of the Action “2nd Call for H.F.R.I. Research Projects to Support Faculty Members and Researchers.”
The Director of the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI), Dr Katerina Kouravelou, will address the Conference on Tuesday, May 21.
