It is particularly important that this message reaches society. The participation of the HFRI in such an event demonstrates the importance that the Foundation attaches to ethical issues as, since its inception, HFRI has been striving to create an institution that enjoys the trust of the Greek research community for the integrity of its evaluations and the management of research resources based on scientific curiosity in terms of quality, without geographical and thematic limitations. We are proud of HFRI’s journey and our participation in the 8th World Congress on Research Integrity is a testament to our values”.

“The field of Research Integrity represents a knowledge framework that aims to codify good practices to promote the production and publication of reliable research results. Hosting the 8th World Congress on Research Integrity in Athens was a great honor and an excellent opportunity to inform the Greek research community, as well as the stakeholders directly linked to science and innovation in our country, regarding the discussions on issues related to the credibility of scientific research. The promotion of Research Integrity is possible through the recognition and acceptance that initiatives such as the World Conferences are linked to the responsibility of the research community towards societies, but also to the deepening of societies’ trust in science in general”, said Professor Konstantinos Haritidis, Vice-President of HFRI’s SC and co-chair of WCRI2024.
